MADHOUSE is a project that is fueled by my passion for making games, but it has also kept going with the support of the fans. You can show your support for this game in several ways. MADHOUSE is absolutely free to download and play, but if you enjoy or appreciate my work, I hope that you will consider sending me a small donation. As of right now, I'm living away from home and working, but my income is hardly enough for me to get by with the cost of my rent, bills, food expenses, and high gas prices. Although this game was never created with the intent to be sold or garner profit, I feel like I have invested a lot of time that I could have spent looking for jobs or sending out resumes. I think it would be nice to have a little compensation for all my hard work! A small donation of anything, even 1 dollar, but ideally $5, $10, or even $20 (if you're feeling generous) would be very helpful. And as my way of saying thanks for donations of $5 or more, I will provide you with a special file for unlocking exclusive features of the game, such as hidden modes, characters and stages! This game has been my personal project; I have solely created every sprite, sound effect, and line of code with little to no outside resources. I intend to keep this game as my work exclusively, however, the music is the only element of MADHOUSE that I have not created. Because of this, I am looking for a talented and experienced MIDI composer who is interested and passionate about making music for games. I am asking for someone who is serious and committed to taking the time to make unique and original music for this game, someone who will work closely with me on producing music that fits each stage or situation of the game. This job is entirely voluntary, so you won't be paid for your work if you decide to contribute. You will, however, be fully credited and your music will be featured in the game. This game is my baby, so only the most serious inquiries need apply! Few have tried, but none have had the commitment needed for this. If interested, send an email to music@madhousegame.com.
